Int’l tourism seminar takes place in Vung Tau

Vung Tau City hosted an international tourism seminar yesterday with focusing on ways to lure more foreign visitors to the southern province.
The seminar, entitled “How to attract international tourists to Ba Ria-Vung Tau (BRVT) Province: Share ideas”, was held by the provincial Department of External Affairs.Saigontourist general director Nguyen Huu Tho said tour operators should share three ideas: developing BRVT into an international-level tourism center; combining cruise-tourism with sporting and entertainment events, and promoting tourism model in combination with conferences, seminars and fairs.Other delegates said Vung Tau tour companies should develop a “soul” for the city tourism industry and make it a reliable tourist destination by strengthening partnerships.
